A prophetic gathering like this is not only to teach us but also a platform for us to be imparted. (Ezekiel 2:2) We’ll continue our series on unlocking your new dawn heritage in Christ. As a child of God you have new things ordained for you every day. However, it is important to note that we cannot cross to the other side without faith. In Luke 8:22-25 the disciples were in the process of crossing over to the other side and a storm arose. They were afraid and called on Jesus He rebuked the wind and said unto them, “Where is your faith?”
It takes faith to cross to the other side. It took faith for Abraham to cross from destiny to posterity. He believed God was able to raise Isaac back from the dead. God therefore blessed him and generations after him. He moved from destiny to posterity. (Genesis 2:17-18).
The storms will be raging on your way to the other side but it takes faith to cross over. I’m speaking tonight on the force of supernatural faith in unlocking your new dawn heritage. “A great and effectual door is opened before me but there are many adversaries. (1Corinthians 16:9)Faith is a personal asset that must be personally cultivated and passionately protected. -@DavidOyedepoMin Click To Tweet
You need the shield of faith to quench the fiery darts of the enemy (Ephesians 6:16). Otherwise the great door will only be theoretical. There is nowhere you will not be threatened out of your promised land. You need the enduement of supernatural faith to possess your possession. Your faith must be intact. The violent takes it by force.
You need your heart to stay alive. You can’t borrow my heart. It’s the same way with faith. The just shall live by his own faith. It’s a personal asset that must be personally cultivated and passionately protected. Otherwise you are off. Can you use the understanding of another man to pass your own exam? You need your personal spiritual understanding of the word to develop your faith so you can live the overcomer’s life. (Romans 1:17).
Everyone had a measure of faith at new birth. And that faith has unlimited capacity for growth. (2Thessalonians 1:3, Romans 12:3, Luke 19:13)
Your faith won’t grow on its own just as your muscle won’t grow on its own. Your faith will grow by exercising it, by making the required investment for its growth. Let’s get acquainted with what it takes to build our faith so that new dawn will not be chorus but an experience. You need to build your faith so you can stand against the storms as they arise, so you can say no to the devil without shifting your ground.
Everyone that is saved got a measure of faith. That measure can be lost and brought to the level of having no faith if one does not cultivate it. In Mark 4:40 Jesus asked, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith? They have lost the faith. You can move from no faith to little faith (Matthew 16:8) and then great faith (Matthew 15:28) depending on how much you work on your faith. If you don’t work on your faith it will soon stop working.
You must continue to build up yourself on your most holy faith. (Jude 1:20) Everybody must take responsibility for building his faith. Your prayer and fasting will deliver according to your faith. Everything about you will deliver according to your faith. Your health status is according to your faith. Your financial status is according to your faith. Each one has to work on his faith. If you don't work on your faith, your faith will soon stop working. -@DavidOyedepoMin #ANewDawn Click To Tweet
If there is nothing in you, no matter who prays for you there is a limit. It’s your faith that defines the limit of divine intervention in your life. (Mark 6:5-6) You need great faith to see the great acts and mighty works of God. He won’t do anything beyond your faith. Build your faith and keep your destiny open. There are people whose faith has repositioned them above sickness and disease. There are those whose faith has taken them beyond praying for what to eat.
Faith is not a risk, it is your access to your right. (Mark 9:24). God said “Go forward!” and the sea gave way. By faith the children of Israel walked through the Red Sea as on dry land. (Hebrews 11:29) You develop yourself to the point that what the world calls a risk becomes a highway to your right. A double-minded person is unstable in all his ways. Let not that man think he will receive anything from God. (James 1:8)
You need to develop your faith above the risk mentality realm. It’s the only way to the other side. You need to be a student of the word. Everybody has the God-given opportunity to develop his faith to the level of Jesus’ faith. (Mark 9:24, John 14:12, John 6:27-29) Faith is what enables us to walk in the realm of Jesus. So we have the right to develop our faith to the stature and fullness of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-13). Let’s take responsibility.
We have a lot of work to do on our faith. You are long overdue to cross to the other side. Whatever God says He creates. I pray for you for grace to build your faith. You need to follow God’s prescription. Take responsibility in building your faith. For example you cannot be praying to God to open the windows of heaven if you are not a tither. Build your faith by doing what the word commands. The just shall live by his faith. (Habbakkuk 2:4)
Preaching faith is not equal to building faith. You have all the God-given right to build your faith to any level. But when you spend all your time watching television is that how to build your faith? Everyone starts with a measure of faith at the new birth. You can develop that and have it grow into little faith, great faith and supernatural faith. That is the spirit of faith. (2Corinthians 4:13, Luke 1:17).
Earnestly contend for the spirit of faith that was at work in the saints of old (Jude 1:3). Build your faith and get brutal with the devil. The devil is not a gentleman, he is a violent wicked man. You need the spirit of faith that will keep you on your feet against all hordes of hell and triumph. From now on you will demonstrate the difference of Jesus. No sharp practices, no manipulation of figures. God is restoring dignity to the body.
What does it take to build your faith?
Faith is a spiritual virtue and will require spiritual investment to grow. (Galatians 6:6-8)
1. Diligent study of God’s word. (Romans 10:17). Faith is a product of diligent understanding of the truth. Engage in diligent study until you gain understanding.
2. Engage your spirit in the search. (Luke 15:7-8, Proverbs 20:27). Don’t engage your intellect alone. (Isaiah 26:9, I Corinthians 2:13). The Spirit of God communicates with your spirit to give you a revelation of God’s word.
3. Seek the spirit of wisdom and revelation. (Ephesians 1:17-18, 1Corinthians 12:31. Earnestly cover the best gifts.
4. Engage in prayer and fasting when you have searched and couldn’t see. Some demonic coverings may not leave without a fast. If your fasting is only for prayers you are losing out. Pray to see.
God told me, “Know me, don’t seek to be known and the world will soon start looking for you.” Our church growth is a product of a fast. It’s time to engage in a search fasting. Fast to search not just to pray. Study the Bible and anointed books, meditate and pray.
You had better start search fasting i.e. fasting to search or uncover secrets. You get more from it than prayer fasting. The moment He delivers a truth He has set a seal for your triumph. You get yourself to the other side by building your faith and paying the price. Part of that price is prayer and fasting to find. Search to find because it is the word you find that determines your level of manifestation.
5. Engage in thanksgiving and praise. (Psalm 16:11, Psalm. 100:4). People that operate by praise as a lifestyle don’t struggle to access revelation. You find the path of life in His presence. You have compassed this mountain long enough. (Deuteronomy 2:3) It’s time to enforce your new dawn by enforcing access to greater light which will give you greater faith and turn you over to the other side.Build your faith by doing what the word commands. Life takes on a whole new meaning when you become a member of God’s family through faith in Jesus Christ. If you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, or if you want to rededicate your life to Him, please pray this prayer with the whole of your heart: “Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Saviour. I want to serve you always.”
